Mum-to-be Deepika Padukone flaunted her baby bump in an embroidered purple sari she donned for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet night in Mumbai on Friday.
“Just… coz it’s a Friday night & wants to party,” Deepika captioned her post on Instagram, tagging husband Ranveer Singh.
The Fighter actress paired her sari with a bejeweled white choker and matching earrings to complement her look.
A matching blouse with intricately detailed zari work also enhanced the visual appeal of the gorgeous ensemble. A sleek bun, smokey eyes, darkened eyebrows, nude lips and a finger ring completed Deepika’s look.
Ranveer, who celebrated his birthday on July 6, reacted to his wife’s post. “Hayyyye! my beautiful birthday gift. I love you,” he wrote in the comment section.
Deepika and Ranveer had announced their pregnancy in March, shortly after the Pathaan actress attended BAFTA 2024 as a presenter.
The couple started dating each other on the sets of the 2013 film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. They tied the knot on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy.
On the work front, Deepika has been earning plaudits from moviegoers for her performance in Nag Ashwin Reddy’s latest dystopian sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. The film also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.
