Actress Mrunal Thakur is set to make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival and will be at the French Riviera from May 17 to 19.
“I am thrilled to be attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time,” said the Sita Ramam actress.
Talking about her debut at the prestigious event, Mrunal said she was excited about attending the prestigious platform. “I look forward to interacting with global filmmakers, exploring new opportunities and showcasing the talent that Indian cinema has to offer,” she added.
Mrunal is currently filming for Nani30 and will also headline upcoming films Pooja Meri Jaan, Pippa and Lust Stories 2. She would follow a long line of Indian actresses at the Cannes Film Festival, including Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vidya Balan.
