Sita Ramam actress Mrunal Thakur and Jersey actor Nani started shooting for a new Telugu film in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning.

Directed by Shouryuv, the yet-to-be-named family drama — tentatively titled as Nani 30 — will be another step ahead for Mrunal, who has been travelling between Mumbai and Hyderabad for the filming.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Mrunal said the movie would be special for her career. “My next one, indeed a special one ❤️ I’m sure the wait was worth it 😇,” she wrote in the caption.

Talking about her co-star, Mrunal, who worked in the Hindi remake of Nani’s Jersey last year, said she looked forward to working with the Telugu star. “It would be really interesting as I worked in the Hindi remake of Jersey, a film Nani originally starred in. It’s a really heartwarming story and the team backing the project is immensely talented,” the actress added.
