Mr. & Mrs. Mahi stars Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are set to play dumb charades, engage in banter with host Kapil Sharma and talk about relationships on Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show on June 1, shows the latest teaser for the 10th episode of the celebrity talk show dropped by the streamer on Wednesday.

Offering a glimpse of the hilarious moments between the guests and Kapil, the video kicks off with Janhvi trying out animated gestures to explain to her co-star Rajkummar a certain word during a round of dumb charades. Being completely clueless, Rajkummar guesses with random names of animals, which makes everyone break into laughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Mahi marks the duo’s second film together after 2021’s horror-comedy Roohi. When Kapil asks Rajkummar whether Janhvi scared him more as a ghost in Roohi or as a wife in the upcoming film, the actor hilariously says, “In love, be it a ghost or a wife, it’s the same.”

In the next instance, Kapil intentionally slips in the name “Shikhar” while asking Janhvi a question, which stuns the actress.

The teaser also shows glimpses of Janhvi’s swayamvar and Rajkummar and Krushna Abhishek’s banter.

“Get ready for sixers of laughter as Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, aka @janhvikapoor and @rajkummar_rao, meet Kapil and his gang,” Netflix wrote alongside the teaser shared on Instagram.

The upcoming episode of the comedy show will hit Netflix on Saturday at 8 pm.

In Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, Rajkummar’s failed cricketer Mahendra turns coach for his wife Mahima, played by Janhvi, with an aim to make the latter represent Team India. But when Mahima, a doctor, realises that Mahendra is training her to realise his own worth, their relationship takes a rocky turn.

Mr. & Mrs. Mahi also marks the second collaboration between Janhvi and filmmaker Sharan Sharma, who made his directorial debut with the actress’ 2020 film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.

Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is slated to release in theatres on May 31.
