Panchami Morning

Start off Durga Puja with a comfortable outfit. A flowy boho top with flared sleeves and a comfy pair of shorts will make it easy even if it rains.

Panchami Evening

Take a cue from Avneet Kaur to continue with the boho chic look after sunset. A white crop top with jeans and a red shrug with your choice of junk jewellery will be just right to catch up with friends to do Puja planning over coffee.

Sashthi Morning

One can never go wrong with a classic yellow anarkali for all the Puja feels.

Sashthi Evening

It’s time to bring out the saris, but give it a contemporary twist. Mouni Roy’s funky sari with a black crop top, chunky jewellery and a belt to accentuate the waist is a look to save.

Saptami Morning

If Deepika Padukone can slay a pink kurti on the streets of France, so can you. A comfortable pink kurti with big jhumkas and a messy bun can make your Saptami morning brighter.

Saptami Evening

Dive into your mother’s sari collection and fish out a floral print sari that you have avoided for long. Pair it with chunky jewellery and subtle eye makeup and you’re ready to go.

Ashtami Morning

Perhaps the most important day of all, Ashtami morning calls for the best sari in your wardrobe. Ditch the classic red and go for a dark green sari like Sita Ramam actress Mrunal Thakur. Pearl jewellery and open hair with a sari can never go wrong.

Ashtami Evening

Want to take a break from saris? Take inspiration from actress Rukmini Maitra and opt for a funky skirt-and-top set. Slip on some heavy-duty silver jewellery, half-braid your hair and get set to be a head-turner.

Navami Morning

Navami morning needs something easy-breezy, especially if you have pandal-hopped a lot on Ashtami, so go with Indo-western. Parno Mitra’s blue palazzo with an embellished crop top and matching shrug could be the right inspiration.

Navami Evening

With Garba night in mind, a stylish lehenga choli like Sara Ali Khan’s black-and-gold lehenga would definitely be a show-stopping look. The latest trend of patchwork clothes could also work in your favour — why not try a classic Rajasthani patchwork lehenga and a white crop top with jhumkas?

Dashami

For the last day of Durga Puja, a white sari with red or golden border and a red blouse is the go-to. Go with nude makeup and open hair to end the festivities on a traditional note.
