“When we were discussing the lead cast the first name that came to my mind was Ritabhari. Ritabhari is very passionate and dedicated towards her work. During the shoot she would follow every minute detail given by me and execute them accordingly. Bengalis love to watch thrillers. Every episode will make the viewer think differently about who is behind the mystery,” said director Falak Mir.

In the series Snigdha’s life revolves around her family where Debjani Chatterjee plays the role of her mother-in-law, Sandip Bhattacharya plays the role of her father-in-law and Kinjal Nanda plays her husband. Other integral characters of the film are Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Sweta Bhattacharya and Alivia Sarkar.

Kinjal Nanda loved the script of Nandini, which streams from October 15. “My character has two different shades. I absolutely loved working with Falakda and everyone in the team,” he said.

Talking positively about his role, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay said, “I play the character of a writer. Personally, I love listening to and narrating stories. I used to dream that someday I would play a character where I’m the narrator. Finally, I got to be one in Nandini.”
