Mohanlal has joined hands with filmmaker Tharun Moorthy and producer M. Renjith for his 360th film, the actor announced in an X post on Monday.

“Looking forward to working with Tharun Moorthy and M Renjith for my 360th film. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, the film is scripted by K.R. Sunil and the director himself,” the 63-year-old actor wrote alongside a picture with Moorthy, Renjith and K.R. Sunil.

Mohanlal’s upcoming project is produced by Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media. The shoot for the film will begin in April. “Appreciating your prayers and well wishes as the shoot begins this April,” the actor concluded his note.

Fans showered the actor with their love and best wishes. “Best wishes laletta. Ur my all time fav,” one of them wrote.

Mohanlal was last seen in the fantasy drama Malaikottai Vaaliban, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. In 2023, the actor appeared in two movies — the thriller Neru alongside Priyamani and the Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer.

Moorthy, on the other hand, is known for films like Operation Java and Saudi Vellakka. Operation Java was the director’s debut film, which revolved around real-life cases and investigations carried out by a cyber cell police station in Cochin.

Produced by Renjith known for backing films like Two Countries, Left Right Left and Idukki Gold, the script for the film is written by Moorthy in collaboration with KR Sunil.
