Mohanlal teams up with Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph for legal drama Neru

The actor-director duo are also gearing up for the third instalment in the Drishyam franchise

Veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal has announced that he would be reuniting with filmmaker Jeethu Joseph for the fifth time for a new project called Neru.

Sharing the title announcement video on Twitter on Saturday, Mohanlal wrote, “Unveiling the title of the 33rd cinematic endeavour produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, directed by Jeethu Joseph.”

The one-minute-22-second-long motion poster video unveils the title as it appears on a book in Braille inscriptions against the backdrop of a court.Billed as a legal drama, the film, whose tagline is “Seeking justice”, has been written by Jeethu along with Santhi Mayadevi.

The actor-director duo of the hit Malayalam franchise Drishyam has reunited for Aashirvaad Cinemas Production No 33. The film is expected to go on floors in August 2023.

The film also includes cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, music director Vishnu Shyam and editor VS Vinayak.

Apart from Neru, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph are also teaming up for the third instalment in the Drishyam franchise which is currently in the script development phase. They are also working on yet another project tentatively titled Ram.
