Christopher McQuarrie's Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part 1, featuring Tom Cruise as the secret agent Ethan Hunt, continued its steady run at the Indian box office on Friday, minting Rs 9.32 crore nett, as per trade reports.
Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part 1 registered a double-digit opening on Wednesday, minting Rs 12.5 crore nett. The collections witnessed a slight dip on Thursday as the film raked in Rs 9.5 crore nett on Day 2. With another Rs 9.32 crore nett on Friday, the total collection of the Tom Cruise-starrer now stands at Rs 31.32 crore nett in India.
This is the highest three-day collection for a Mission: Impossible movie in India after Mission: Impossible – Fallout. The 2018 film had earned Rs 37 crore nett during its three-day opening weekend in India.
Trade analysts predict that the M:I-7’s collections will improve over the weekend. The film is expected to earn Rs 60 crore nett in India during its five-day extended weekend.
According to Box Office Mojo, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part 1 minted USD 63 million globally so far, out of which USD 23.8 million came from the U.S. market. The film added the rest (USD 39.8 million) to its collection internationally.
