American Singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus has teased her new music video Doctor (Work It Out), a collaboration with producer-songwriter Pharrell Williams, and announced that the new song will drop on March 1.
“Doctor (Work It Out) MARCH 1,” the 31-year-old singer captioned her Instagram post on Wednesday, tagging Williams, who shared the teaser video on his Instagram story.
The video shows Cyrus, clad in a black-and-silver fringe dress, rocking a Dolly Parton hairstyle and strappy stilettos as she grooves to the bass-led beats of her latest track. The lyrics envision the singer as a medical professional who specialises in matters of love. “I could be a doctor and I could be a nurse/ I think I see the problem, it’s only gonna get worse,” croons the Hannah Montana actress.
The Grammy-winning musician had previously shared a poster of Doctor (Work It Out) on her social media. The poster featured the singer in a pale blue furry coat with the title of the song written across it in pink.
At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 4, Cyrus clinched two golden gramophones for Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year for her 2023 smash hit Flowers, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for eight weeks last year.
