Michael Zegen, James Madio, and Scott Cohen have joined the cast of the Colin Farrell-headlined HBO Max series The Penguin, according to entertainment magazine Variety.
Farrell will reprise his role as Oswald Cobblepot from The Batman in the upcoming series, which features an ensemble cast of Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell and Clancy Brown.
Zegen is best known for the role of Joel Maisel in the hit series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Madio was last seen in the series The Offer. Cohen, on the other hand, has been part of shows like The Gilmore Girls.
According to Variety, Michael Zegen will be playing the role of Alberto Falcone in the HBO Max series. His character is described as the heir of Carmine Falcone, the crime lord of Gotham City. John Turturro had played the role of Carmine Falcone in The Batman.
According to reports, The Penguin will consist of eight episodes and will pick up the reins of the story immediately after the events of The Batman.
