Merry Christmas
The poster of Shriram Raghavan’s upcoming film Merry Christmas was dropped by the makers on Monday. The bilingual film features Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The Hindi version co-stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu and Rajesh Williams in the same roles.
“We decided to cut short the wait for the Christmas cheer! #MerryChristmas releasing in theatres near you ON 15th DECEMBER 2023,” wrote Tips Films after sharing the poster.
The Creator
The official trailer of science-fiction thriller The Creator is now out. Helmed by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards, the movie stars John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, Madeleine Yuna Voyles and Allison Janney.
The two-minute-25-second-long trailer shows John David Washington’s Joshua is an ex-special forces agent at war against AI-driven forces to save the human race from extinction. He finds out that the AI mastermind is actually a humanoid child.
The Creator will arrive in cinemas on September 29.
Ajmer 92
Zee Music Company shared the official trailer of its upcoming historical social drama film Ajmer 92. Directed by Pushpendra Singh, it stars Sumit Singh in the lead role of a local journalist in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
The two-minute-45-second-long trailer follows several minor girls who committed suicide after being raped in the city of Ajmer in 1992.The clip showcases a local journalist’s fight against the system to bring the truth of systemic oppression.
Ajmer 92 will release in cinemas on July 21.
Dugdugi
Hoichoi’s new Bengali series Dugdugi on Sunday. Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, it stars Anirban Chakrabarti, Biswanath Basu, Rayati Bhattacharya, Lokenath Dey and Sreya Bhattacharyya.
The two-minute-31-second-long trailer shows a man ridiculed by his boss at the office and looking for his missing wife. However, it seems the tale has a dark side to it.
Dugdugi will be streaming on Hoichi from July 28.
