Disney+ Hotstar has released an exclusive clip from the upcoming six-part psychological thriller Masoom, which marks the OTT debut of actor Boman Irani.
The series is based on the acclaimed Irish drama series Blood. Boman is known for films like 3 idiots, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, and Don among others.
Masoom follows a Kapoor family, where a family member's death will unfold the unspoken truth that clouds their lives. It chronicles a daughter's struggle to discover the truth about her mother's death despite her family's desire to keep the truth hidden under the mask of love and protection.
In the exclusive clip released by the streaming platform, we meet the Kapoor family at the dinner table where the youngest daughter of the family, played by Samara Tijori, accuses her father of hiding the truth.
The two-minute-40-second long clip uncovers the tumultuous relationship between the father and his children. Due to a previous incident, the youngest daughter, who is suffering from a mental illness, and her father have become estranged. In the aftermath of her mother's death in mysterious circumstances, the daughter suspects her father.

The series is directed by Mihir Desai and helmed by showrunner Gurmmeet Singh, both of whom have previously directed Amazon Prime Video’s smash-hit Mirzapur.
Apart from Boman Irani, the cast of this psychological thriller includes Bob Biswas actress Samara Tijori, Manjari Fadnis, Veer Rajwant Singh, Upasana Singh, and Manurishi Chaddha in important roles.
The streaming giants had already released the trailer on June 8. Set in Punjab, Masoom stars Boman Irani as an estranged father with a shady past. After his wife dies under mysterious circumstances at home, their daughter, played by Samara Tijori, is determined to uncover the truth, even if it means defying her own father.
