Marvel offers glimpse into upcoming projects on 85th anniversary

Marvel Entertainment on Thursday looked back at its legacy of storytelling and offered a glimpse into the future of the cinematic universe to mark 85 years of Marvel, the company that gave us iconic superheroes like Spider-Man, Iron-Man, Hulk and Deadpool.

“Celebrating 85 years of Marvel, thanks to you, True Believers,” the official handle of Marvel Entertainment wrote on X alongside the video.

The two-minute-40-second long video, which premiered at the recent D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, pays homage to the vast array of Marvel characters — right from the Avengers and X-Men to the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man.

Whether it's the unforgettable line “I am Iron Man” or the rallying cry of “Avengers assemble”, Marvel has created moments that resonate deeply with fans around the globe.

Featuring archival footage of Stan Lee, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, and beloved stars like Angela Bassett and fan-favorite Tom Hiddleston, the video also teases what’s to come. Fans are treated to first-look glimpses of eagerly awaited projects including Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World, Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, and Thunderbolts.

The video “showcases not only the remarkable legacy of the company, but the excitement for all of the groundbreaking storytelling to come,” the Walt Disney Company said in a statement.
