Having shot back-to-back films last year, Manoj Bajpayee is looking forward to a break.

The actor said he needed a break since he had been living out of his suitcase for a year. Bajpayee said he wanted to spend time with his family, especially his daughter Ava Nyla. “I haven’t had time to spend with Ava. This year I plan to take four months off and make time for her,” he said.

Speaking about his busy line-up this year, Bajpayee said: “Last year was great, but I am looking forward to many more wonderful movies lined up this year. There’s Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary up for release this week. Then there’s Love Soniya, which is an American film based on women’s trafficking, in May.”

“Later, I have Missing with Tabu. I have just finished shooting for Baaghi 2 and the dubbing is going on. It’s a very significant role. Next I have Gali Guniya, popularly known as  In The Shadows, which hasbeen appreciated at many film festivals. It is also up for release in May.”

That’s not all. He stars in Abhishek Chaubey’s Son-Chiraiya, based on the dacoits of Chambal. “I am doing a special appearance in the film.” Bajpayee starts shooting for Nikhil Advani’s film with John Abraham, to be directed by Milap Jhaveri, in August. “Bhosle, based on a retired havaldar and his life, is set for release next year. Ashish Makhia, who directed Aaji, has helmed this film. I am also doing a web series. After that I plan to take break.”

Manoj Bajpayee and director Neeraj Pandey have had a long association — Aiyaary being their sixth project together. They have worked in Naam Shabana, Ouch, a short film, Missing, Special 26 and Saath Ucchakey.
