Couturier Manish Malhotra’s Stage5 Productions-backed Saali Mohabbat, starring Radhika Apte and Divyenndu, will have its world premiere on November 22 at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, he announced on Monday, sharing a poster of the film on Instagram.

Jio Studios & Stage5 Productions proudly present Saali Mohabbat, a pulse-pounding “howdunit” thriller, making its World Premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Date: November 22, 2024. ️Time: 4:45 PM. Venue: IFFI, Goa,” reads the caption to Manish’s post.

While Saali Mohabbat marks Manish’s debut as a producer, the film is also actress Tisca Chopra’s first directorial venture. Apart from Radhika and Divyenndu, Saali Mohabbat also stars Anshumaan Pushkar, Sauraseni Maitra, Sharat Saxena and Anurag Kashyap in key roles.

Sharing a set of character posters on Instagram on Tuesday, Manish highlighted the objective of his home banner, Stage5 Production, which he launched in September last year.

“With Stage5 Production, my aim is to create cinematic experiences that are gripping and thought-provoking. The moment I read the script of Saali Mohabbat, I was drawn to its intense and thrilling narrative,” he wrote.

“At Stage5 Production, we collaborate with heartfelt passion and a deep love for the craft, working closely with directors to bring their vision onto the screen with artistry and I’m incredibly thankful to Jio Studios and Jyoti Deshpande for their unwavering support and belief in this vision. It’s an honor to present Saali Mohabbat at IFFI, and I’m eager for audiences to immerse themselves in this thrilling journey,” the 57-year-old added.

Resharing the posters, Tisca wrote, “Can’t wait for y’all to see this labour of love.”

As per media reports, Saali Mohabbat follows a housewife embroiled in a tale of infidelity, deceit and murder.

IFFI 2024 will take place in Goa from November 20 to November 28.
