If you’ve been charmed by the sassy Devi Vishwakumar in Netflix’s Never Have I Ever, you’ll love Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s personal style too. The Canadian actress will next be seen as Zipp Storm in YouTube’s animated 2D web series My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale and Netflix’s animated series My Little Pony: Make Your Mark. Maitreyi often shares her fashion choices on Instagram. Here are our picks from her look book.

Maitreyi, who is geared up to make her film debut as Lizzie Bennet in the Netflix romcom The Netherfield Girls (inspired from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice), looks chic in a black body-hugging dress with golden-chain straps. The 20-year-old paired the outfit with golden stilettos and bold eye makeup.

Styled by Joseph Cassell Falconer, Maitreyi looks like the girl-next-door in a lavender-pleated dress with long sleeves. We love her matching eye shadow, translucent heels and schoolgirl-like middle-parting hairdo.

Did you enjoy Maitreyi’s candid conversation in The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon? Then, we bet you also loved her high-neck, knee-length Zimmermann purple floral dress, paired with grey platform pumps. She opted for accentuated eyes, glossy lips, teardrop earrings and finger rings to finish the look.

Baggy denim pants, black crop top, sneakers with yellow socks and flannel shrug tick all the boxes for casual fashion. This look is also closest to how we know Maitreyi as – the cool high-schooler Devi from Never Have I Ever.

Maitreyi, a Tamil Canadian, received a grand welcome in Yonge-Dundas Square in Ontario in March. And we loved her ‘back-home fashion’ look — her Stella Jean printed skirt, polka top and Anine Bing black coat.

The actress looks resplendent in her mom’s black silk sari with silver zari border. The kamarbandh, jhumkas and bindi add to the charm.
