Telugu actor Mahesh Babu has revealed the release date of his upcoming film #SSMB28 along with a new poster. The action entertainer will hit the theatres on January 13, 2024.
The Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor reshared the poster of the upcoming film, which was originally shared by Haarika & Hassine Creations with the caption “13.01.2024!! #SaveTheDate” on Sunday evening.
In the poster, Mahesh Babu is seen walking with a cigarette hanging from his mouth and dark aviator shades. He is walking through the crowd and what seems like a convoy behind him. The actor is sporting blue denim, a red-black shirt and kito shoes.
The film will reunite Mahesh Babu with director Trivikram Srinivas after 12 years. It will also feature actress Pooja Hegde in a lead role, marking her second collaboration with the Spyder actor after their 2019 blockbuster Maharashi.
Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas last collaborated in 2010’s action comedy-drama Khaleja starring Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam and Sunil. Previously, they had also worked in 2005’s action thriller Athadu.
Last year, taking to Twitter, the Haarika and Hassine Creations had shared a special announcement video and written, “The Evergreen Combo of Super Star @urstrulyMahesh & our Darling Director #Trivikram is back to REIGN! The most eagerly awaited #SSMB28 pre-production has started on EPIC proportions! Shoot starts This Aug. Be Ready for a MASSive Blast at the Screens ~ Summer 2023!”
