Pop icon Madonna is preparing for her Celebration Tour following recovery from a severe bacterial infection that led to her hospitalisation on June 24, shows pictures shared by the 65-year-old from recent rehearsals.
An Instagram carousel shared by the singer-songwriter shows behind-the-scenes photos of her getting ready to rehearse with her crew members, background dancers and make-up artists. “Rehearsal photo dump……….🥳,” she wrote alongside the photos.
In one of the pictures, a party banner with the words “We missed you so much” was hung on a beige curtain, presumably by the crew to welcome back the Queen of Pop after her recovery.
In another picture, Madonna can be seen wearing a black lace corset during a practise session in a theatre.
In a monochrome picture, the singer seems to be in the middle of a dance rehearsal with her one leg on a chair and the other on the shoulder of a background dancer. She wears her black lace corset coupled with a mini skirt along with belt boots.
The Celebration Tour, which was meant to mark the 40th anniversary of Madonna's breakthrough single Holiday, was originally slated to take place in Canada earlier this year. However, it was postponed in June after the singer’s hospitalisation.
