Actress Madhuri Dixit and Apple CEO Tim Cook bonded over a plate of vada pav during the latter’s visit to Mumbai.
“Can’t think of a better welcome to Mumbai than Vada Pav,” Madhuri wrote on Instagram alongside a candid photo of the two enjoying vada pav at what appears to be a restaurant.
Cook visited Mumbai recently for the opening of the first Apple store in India at the Jio World Drive mall in the Bandra-Kurla Complex business district. The store is being launched to mark the brand’s 25 years in the country.
Sonam Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, A.R. Rahman and Mouni Roy were among the several other Bollywood celebrities who met the 62-year-old Apple boss on Monday.
Mouni also shared pictures of her posing with Cook, Rahman and Madhuri on Monday. “You often find yourself thinking about being a brand especially in this day and age. Lucky to have met the man that runs one of the most iconic brands from my generation,” the Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva actress wrote.
Rahman took to Instagram to share a candid photo of him and Cook talking to each other at the store launch event. “What are we talking about? Any guesses,” his caption read.
Sonam Kapoor, who attended the event with her husband Anand Ahuja, didn’t share any inside photos from the evening but posted a set of pictures showing off her stylish outfit for the store launch. The 37-year-old actress wore a black corset top paired with a grey oversized pants and blazer co-ord set. She completed the look with a yellow Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama bag.
