Fans flooded the comments section to express their hope and excitement for a sequel to Fashion. “Is. Fashion 2. Happeningg,” one of them asked, while another expressed the wish to see both Priyanka and her Fashion co-star Kangana Ranaut together if a sequel is indeed in the works.

Exploring the complexities of ambition and identity in the world of fashion, Fashion follows the journey of Meghna Mathur (Priyanka), an ambitious small-town girl who dreams of becoming a top model. As she rises to fame in the cutthroat fashion industry, she confronts the dark side of glamour. However, even after spiralling into a web of self-destruction, Meghna eventually confronts her demons and makes a comeback.

Kangana, on the other hand, plays the role of Shonali Gujral, a successful supermodel who starts out as the reigning queen of the fashion industry. As the fashion industry starts to put pressure on her, Shonali slowly loses her confidence and gives in to her weaknesses, eventually taking the path of addiction and self-destruction.

Released on October 29, 2008, Fashion grossed Rs 39.29 crore at the domestic box office. It also starred Mugdha Godse, Arjan Bajwa, Arbaaz Khan, Raj Babbar and Kitu Gidwani.

On the work front, Priyanka recently finished filming for her movie The Bluff and is currently gearing up to shoot the second season of her Prime Video spy series Citadel.
