Netflix on Friday shared a fun promotional video of Lust Stories 2 stars, including Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Kajol and Mrunal Thakur, reacting to their roles and suggesting ideas for the upcoming anthology film.

Posting the video on Instagram, Netflix wrote in the caption, “Is Vijay Varma the face of lust? Will Kajol get to be in sarson ke khet? Will there be an orgasm scene this time? 👀 Find out the answers to these burning questions and more! #LustStories2 is coming soon, only on Netflix! 🤩”

The two-minute-two-second-long video begins with Tamannaah worrying about a scene that involves “more than kissing”. She suggested that the makers could go for “passionate” hand-holding or hugs. The video also shows Vijay Verma, who is reportedly dating Tamannaah. They both asked about her co-actors and blushingly agreed to the project after being cast opposite each other.

Vijay also looked straight at the camera, asking the makers if Vicky Kaushal was busy that he was approached to play the part. He also gloated that he is the “face of lust” after playing some negative characters.

Kajol asked for a Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge-style “sarson ka khet” shot. She also advised the makers to name her character Anjali, her character’s name in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Veteran actress Neena Gupta, who is also seen in the video, looks shocked that she’s playing the role of a grandmother. She then sheepishly said, “Grannies too can have lust.”

Mrunal Thakur, who usually dies at the end of most of her films, was relieved to know she won’t have a death sequence in the film. Tillotama Shome wanted to play the lead in all the shorts and even offered to play Vijay’s role. When her request was denied, she even made a face asking why can’t she play a man.

Amruta Subhash couldn’t stop crying after reading the script. Angad Bedi was also seen breaking into bhangra after being offered the role.

The second instalment of Netflix’s anthology film will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sensharma, R. Balki and Sujoy Ghosh. The film is expected to touch upon an even wider range of issues related to pleasure and societal hypocrisies.

Lust Stories 2 will arrive on Netflix on June 29.
