Finding love on a night at the opera and cameos by singers Celine Dion and Nick Jonas promise a bittersweet romantic journey in the trailer of Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming movie Love Again.
Dropped on the night of Valentine’s Day, the almost three-minute-long trailer promises a tale of a second chance at love, beginning with a glimpse of Priyanka’s Mira who struggles to move on with her life after the demise of her boyfriend. She keeps texting at her boyfriend’s number but it has been reassigned to Rob Burns (Sam Heughan). Rob, who is a journalist, is assigned to write a piece about singer Celine Dion who helps him to find Mira. Rob and Mira cross paths at the opera and fall in love. Priyanka’s real-life husband Nick Jonas also has a cameo in the film as they share an awkward kiss.

The Baywatch actress took to social media to thank her co-stars and everyone associated with the film. “We made this film in difficult times most of it away from our loved ones but everyday on set was special, especially with the incomparable @celinedion and my amazing co-stars @samheughan, @russelltovey, @sofiabarclay 😘 Happy to be sharing our labour of ♥ @loveagainmovie,” she wrote.
Written and directed by James C Strouse, the film also stars Russell Tovey, Steve Oram, Omid Djalili, Sofia Barclay, Lydia West, Arinze Kene and Celia Imrie. Love Again is produced by Screen Gems and distributed by Sony Pictures.
Love Again will hit the theatres on May 12.
