Loki actress Sophia Di Martino has lauded Alia Bhatt’s performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
The 39-year-old English actress, who is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), yesterday took to Instagram to appreciate Alia’s performance and share a poster of the film. “Woahhh. What a turn 🤍 @aliabhatt is going to take over the world in about a minute and a half #GangubaiKathiawadi,” she wrote, referring to Alia’s spins in the dance number Dholida.
Alia shared a screenshot of Sophia’s Instagram story and thanked her for the love and affection. “This means so much from someone who is about to take over a whole Multiverse😬,” write the Brahmastra actress.
The Instagram exchange didn’t stop there as Sophia reposted Alia’s reply and wrote, “Casual Fan Girling over here.”
Gangubai Kathiawadi has been one of the three Bollywood performances by Alia this year. Apart from Gangubai Kathiawadi, the 29-year-old actress also starred in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahamastra and Jasmeet K. Reen’s directorial debut Darlings.
