Kajol, Karan Johar, Bipasha Basu, Hrithik Roshan and Manoj Bajpayee were among the Bollywood celebrities who cast their votes for the 2024 general elections in Mumbai on Monday. Earlier in the day, Akshay Kumar, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor also exercised their franchise. Here’s a look.
“Bhartiya hone ka sab se bada SABOOT…Apka vote hai hai dosto. Apne iss haq ka fayda uthaye………Vote zaroor daliyega,” Bollywood veteran Dharmendra wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of him showcasing his inked finger after casting his vote.

“Choosing our own government is a right we fought for years to get. Use ur power now. Vote,” Kajol wrote, sharing a picture in a white outfit and red lipstick.
Manoj Bajpayee was accompanied by his wife Shabana Raza on Monday to the polling booth. While the Killer Soup star sported a mint-green t-shirt paired with beige pants, Shabana went for a casual look in a denim jumpsuit. “#BhaiyyaJi aur Bhabhi Ji ne vote de diya. Aap sabhi se nivedhan hai ki matdaan karein aur apne loktantrik adhikar ka upyog karein,” Manoj captioned his pictures.
Manoj’s Killer Soup co-star Konkona Sen Sharma shared a selfie after casting her vote. “Voted. You?” read her caption.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director Karan Johar posted a selfie and wrote, “I voted. Have you?”
Hrithik Roshan voted with his father Rakesh Roshan and other family members on Monday. “Go vote. Make sure you have studied the candidates first. Know who you are voting for,” the Fighter star wrote.
Bipasha Basu opted for a black nylon blazer over a lacy top and brown shades for polling day. “Choose the country you want! Go Vote,” she wrote.
Shreya Ghoshal visited a polling booth in a white blazer over an orange t-shirt. “Go vote 🇮🇳. Every vote counts. #Mumbai walon ghar se niklo aur apna vote do,” her caption reads.
Wearing a casual colour-blocked dress, Raveena Tandon also dropped a selfie flaunting her inked finger. “Done my bit . Have you,” the actress, who recently starred in the Disney+ Hotstar series Karmma Calling, wrote.
Dressed in a blue kurti with floral prints, Saif Ali Khan’s sister Soha Ali Khan highlighted the importance of casting one’s vote in the elections. “The only exercise I'm doing today is exercising my right to vote! Your vote is your voice and your voice matters,” she wrote.
Little Things star Mithila Palkar also spread awareness about the elections this year. “Vote wisely, friends. Be aware. Know what really needs to change and vote for the hopeful change makers. Vote, and hope that it counts,” the 31-year-old actress wrote alongside a quirky picture of her dressed in a floral burgundy outfit and black shades.
Ghoomer actress Saiyami Kher shared a selfie, asking her fans to vote wisely. “We all complain about the roads, we all have long discussions at dinner tables. Let’s get down to business and exercise our most powerful right. PLEASE GO VOTE,” she wrote.
Randeep Hooda sported a white printed shirt and black shades on polling day. “I have done my duty, Have you?” he wrote in the caption. The actor’s latest film Swatantra Veer Savarkar, a biopic of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, is slated to release on ZEE5 on May 28.
Fukrey actor Ali Fazal went for a street-style look comprising a grey t-shirt, brown shades, a neck chain and watch. “Lets see, who all voted today? Just a yes or a no,” the actor asked fans in the caption.
Actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt expressed her excitement after seeing a long queue at the polling booth. “Walked our talk. Talked our walk! Was thrilled to see a long line at the polling booths at 7.00 am this morning. Keep it up Bandra! Keep it up Mumbai! Please go vote. Your voice matters,” she wrote alongside a picture with father Mahesh Bhatt.
