Blackpink member Lisa is set to make her acting debut with Season 3 of the Emmy-winning HBO series The White Lotus, the rapper-singer said on Monday, sharing the show's trailer on Instagram.
“Introducing Mook. The @HBO Original Series #TheWhiteLotus returns February 16th on @StreamOnMax,” Lisa wrote alongside the trailer in which she appeares to be a hotel concierge. In a scene, Lisa wears a traditional Thai costume, probably for a performance.
Starring Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Nicholas Duvernay, Christian Friedel and Scott Glenn, the new season of the comedy-thriller series is slated to release on February 16, 2025.
The White Lotus is a comedy-drama series that follows the guests and employees of an exclusive resort for a week. The show explores the darker impulses of the guests and the complex truths of the seemingly idyllic resort. Each season features a new cast and a mystery at the centre of the story.
After she departed from YG Entertainment along with bandmates Jisoo, Jennie and Rose, Lisa launched her label company LLOUD in February this year. Following the launch of her company, Lisa released three tracks— Rockstar, New Woman (featuring Rosalia) and Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me).
All the members of Blackpink—Lisa, Jennie, Rose and Jisoo—last appeared together in the music video of their 2022 single Shut Down, which topped the Billboard Global 200.
