Myra Rampal, the 17-year-old daughter of actor Arjun Rampal and former model Mehr Jesia, was among the two star kids to walk the ramp for Christian Dior’s India-inspired Fall 2023 collection on March 30. Held at the Gateway of India in Mumbai, the fashion event saw Myra taking her mother’s legacy forward and making her debut on the Dior runway in a stunning pink dress.

Arjun Rampal was a proud dad congratulating his daughter on her ramp debut with an Instagram post on Thursday. “Today my gorgeous little princess walked her first runway. That too for #ChristianDior The best thing about it was that she did it all on her own merit. From auditions to fittings. To be chosen from all the tuff competition. She has made us all super proud. Wishing her more success, love and happiness. Congratulations @myra_rampal you are a star,” the Om Shanti Om actor wrote.

Arjun’s Dil Hai Tumhaara (2002) co-star Preity Zinta also commented on the post and wrote, “Wow ! Congrats @myra_rampal you have grown up so fast & so beautiful ❤️❤️ God bless.”

Mehr Jesia, who ruled the runway in the 1980s and won the Miss India title in 1986, posted several stories on Instagram about her daughter as well.

Arjun’s partner Gabriella Demetriades also shared a story on Instagram congratulating Myra on her runway debut.

Myra’s modelling career began just a year ago with the teenager turning heads with her fashion-forward looks on Instagram.

Like her mother, Myra too turned muse for fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani. Mehr was the face of the Indian design brand for a long time during her modelling career. In February this year, Myra modelled for Tarun Tahiliani in the same living room as her mother.

Now it is Myra’s turn as she returns for her first shoot, in the same living room that Mehr came to shoot for me in, when I moved to this farm in 1999,” Tarun wrote, sharing pictures of the young model posing in his outfits.

Myra is the eldest of the two daughters of Arjun and Mehr. Her younger sister Mahikaa is also an up-and-coming model.

Arjun and Mehr split up in 2018 after two decades of marriage. The couple co-parent their two daughters. Arjun also has a three-year-old son, Arik, with his current partner Gabriella.
