Actors Divyenndu and Kusha Kapila play siblings competing to inherit their industrialist grandfather’s (Kabir Bedi) vast fortune in the trailer for Disney+ Hotstar’s upcoming comedy drama Life Hill Gayi, dropped by the streamer on Friday.
The two-minute-16-second trailer opens with Divyenndu and Kusha facing a challenge set by their wealthy grandfather, who owns Hotel Good Morning Woods Villa. According to the challenge, the sibling who proves to be most successful in revamping the hotel will inherit their grandfather’s entire estate.
The trailer then showcases Divyenndu and Kusha grappling with the task of hiring competent staff for the hotel, encountering numerous unexpected albeit humorous obstacles. From a receptionist deliberately cutting off the telephone line to a cook neglecting kitchen hygiene, their efforts are fraught with chaos.
The situation comes to a head when a local media outlet reports that the hotel is haunted. Divyenndu and Kusha thereafter scramble to protect the hotel’s reputation. “Everything is fair in love and war and this is war among loved ones,” says Kusha towards the end of the video.
The trailer features Mukti Mohan as Divyenndu’s love interest. It also shows glimpses of Vinay Pathak and Bhagyashree.
The Hotstar Special comedy series will be available for streaming from August 9.
While Kusha last appeared in Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s 2023 sex comedy Thank You for Coming, Divyenndu recently starred in Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut Madgaon Express alongside Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary and Nora Fatehi.
