Late actor Vikram Gokhale will make his last on-screen appearance in the upcoming film Jagjivan Ki Patni Ka Teesra Pyar, a Rajesh Bachchani directorial which also features veteran actress-filmmaker Revathy in an important role.

Gokhale, known for his work in blockbusters like Hum Dil De Dhuke Sanam and Agneepath, breathed his last on November 26.

Jagjivan Ki Patni Ka Teesra Pyar revolves around Jagjivan (Vikram Gokhle) and Suru (Revathy) who have been married for over half a century and are living a blissful life among the hills. The only shadow in the clear skies is Suru’s dementia which surfaces periodically and takes her away from her husband.

The first song of the film Tu ab Aaya, released on December 20. Penned by Bachchani himself, the song touches upon the struggle of dementia.

“Tu Ab Aaya touches on a dementia which is increasingly afflicting people in their advancing years with no cure in sight. I know many will empathise with Jagjivan and Suri’s story and I’m equally confident that the evocative songs, that makes the long wait for love poignantly poetic, will find takers too,” said Bachchani.
