Laapataa Ladies stars Sparsh Shrivastava and Pratibha Ranta have recreated Aditi Rao Hydari’s viral Gajagaminee walk from Netflix period drama Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, prompting a reaction from the actress.

“Hatto jao, we're looking for Sajni,” wrote Netflix, sharing the video on Instagram on Wednesday.

The video captures Sparsh and Pratibha imitating Aditi’s Gajagaminee walk while finding Phool, a character played by Nitanshi Goel in Laapataa Ladies.

The skit is an allusion to the storyline of the film directed by Kiran Rao. Laapataa Ladies follows the adventures of two newlywed veiled brides who get lost on their way to their respective husbands' homes. In the movie, Deepak (Sparsh) and Jaya (Pratibha) join forces to find Phool.

“Bibbojaan certified! Nailed it guys,” wrote Aditi, who plays the revolutionary courtesan Bibbo Jaan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi.

Aditi recently walked the red carpet at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival in France, where she represented the beauty brand L'Oréal Paris. For her first appearance on the red carpet this year, Aditi donned a Gaurav Gupta monochrome gown. For her second appearance, the actress chose a voluminous pink one-shoulder dress by fashion label Avaro Figlio. Aditi will next be seen in Kajri Babbar’s Lioness alongside Paige Sandhu.

While Sparsh last appeared in Kannan Iyer’s historical biographical film Ae Watan Mere Watan, Pratibha portrayed courtesan Shama in Heeramandi.
