Kushi stars Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu engaged in a fun banter over a video call ahead of the Shiva Nirvana-directed romantic musical drama’s September 1 release.

In a reel shared on Instagram, we see Vijay video calling his co-star Samantha, who is currently taking a break from acting and holidaying in the US. “Knock knock, Who is there? #Kushi from Sept 1! Yayyyy! 🥰” his caption read.

In the video call, the Arjun Reddy star tells Samantha that he misses her and that he wants to crack a knock-knock joke. Samantha reminds him that it is 1:30 am in Los Angeles and that she is locked out of her AirBnB room. However, Vijay insists on sharing his joke and goes on to sing Na Roja Nuvve, Hesham Abdul Wahab-sung track from their upcoming film Kushi.

Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Kushi will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
