Following the success of his recently-released film Chemistry of Kariappa, director Kumar is ready with his next. Titled Critical Keerthanegalu, the comedy flick has generated much interest owing to the favour found by Chemistry of Kariappa with the audience. Critical Keerthanegalu completed shoot last year but couldn’t hit theatres owing to the lockdown. The team is now excited to present their film to fans and is preparing for an April or May release.
Critical Keerthanegalu is said to have been inspired by real-life incidents surrounding betting during IPL matches. The story, screenplay and dialogues for the same have been penned by director Kumar. He also adds that the content is the king in his film, which is why there’s no leading lady or man in the film. Critical Keerthanegalu stars Aruna Balraj, Rajesh Nataranga, Tabala Nani and Sudheendra Prasad amongst others. The movie has been shot in Kundapur, Belgaum, Bangalore and Mandya and has music by Veer Samarth.
