Kriti Sanon has provided a glimpse into the sets of her upcoming film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya in a behind-the-scenes video showcasing her makeup room banters during the making of the upcoming romantic comedy, also starring Shahid Kapoor.
In the video shared on Instagram by the actress on Wednesday, Kriti wishes she was her humanoid robot character Sifra in real life as it would make every task easier for her. The video also shows glimpses of her vanity van and promotional events for the film.
“If I was Sifra, I would not need to do this,” Kriti says after dipping her face in a bowl of ice water before doing her makeup for the film. Recalling instances from the making of the film, she says she would not have to undergo daily makeup routines and feel the cold if she were a robot like Sifra.
“Sometimes we all wish I was #SIFRA in life,” the 33-year-old actress captioned the video.
Billed as an ‘impossible love story’, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha is about the romance brewing between Shahid’s robotics expert and humanoid robot Sifra, played by Kriti.
To make fans anticipate the release of the film, Kriti acts like her character in the video. “My battery is very down, I need khana (food),” she says. Adding more fun to the video, the actress keeps on acting like Sifra, saying that she needs her “battery” to charge as she is exhausted from the shooting.
The video ends with Kriti and Shahid attending a promotional event where they danced to Akhiyaan Gulaab, making fans excited in the audience with their hand twirl and thumkas.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha marks the first collaboration between Shahid and Kriti. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film is slated to release on February 9.
