Actress Kriti Sanon visited a theatre in Mumbai recently to get a firsthand reaction from the audience following a screening of her latest film Crew, a women-centric drama also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu.

Sharing a video of her interaction on Instagram, Kriti wrote, “They laughed, I smiled! This LOVE is for my entire CREW! Ladies!! “Loved that our Crew is entertaining all generations and genders,” the Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya actress added.

In the video, Kriti can be seen facing the audience as the end-credits roll out on the screen. The actress earned a standing ovation and a round of applause for her performance. “It’s so amazing to see a packed theatre for a film led by women,” Kriti, clad in a lavender one-shoulder top and blue jeans, told the viewers. When she asked the audience which part of the film was the funniest for them, the people unanimously said, “your landing”, making everyone burst into laughter.

People across all generations and genders had come to watch the film. A little girl said that she loves both Kriti’s Divya Rana from Crew and Sifra from her recent film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The Mimi actress also interacted with a real-life pilot and said, “So sorry for that landing”, making everyone laugh.

In Crew, Kareena, Kriti and Tabu play “badass” air hostesses, who get involved in a gold smuggling scheme to make easy money after being unpaid by their airlines company for months.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, Crew hit theatres on March 29. The heist comedy, helmed by Rajesh A Krishnan, grossed Rs 20.07 crore worldwide on the day of its release, making it the highest opening day grosser for any female lead Hindi film ever.
