Actress Konkona Sensharma read out a verse from her Page 3 co-star Sandhya Mridul’s first book, a collection of poems, in a social media post on Monday.
Titled Untamed, the book is an anthology of poems billed as a “collection of feelings” on Amazon.
“We stare at each other blankly, these pages and I. They are addicted to my words and me to my silence...This lull is uncomfortable...I am sorry you are uncomfortable but people often feel things that are inconvenient,” said Konkona, reading out a verse from the anthology.
In an accompanying note, Konkona mentioned that Sandhya was one of her first friends in Mumbai. “My dearest friend Sandhya Mridul has just published her first book of poems Untamed. Sandy is one of the first friends I made in Mumbai and I couldn’t be more proud of her today! Loved the honesty of these words and hope you all will order her book and read the rest,” wrote Konkona on Instagram on Monday, urging fans to grab a copy of Untamed.

Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, Page 3 (2005) starred Atul Kulkarni, Tara Sharma, Anju Mahendru and Boman Irani, alongside Konkona and Sandhya. The film featured Konkona as Madhavi Sharma, an aspiring and passionate journalist. Sandhya, on the other hand, essayed the role of Pearl Sequeira, an air hostess and Madhavi’s roommate.
On the work front, Konkona is currently working on Anurag Basu's urban drama Metro... In Dino alongside Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Sandhya last appeared in the ZEE5 series Taj: Divided by Blood.
