American celebrities Kim and Khloe Kardashian visited an ISKCON temple in Mumbai during their recent India visit, performing ‘aarti’ and serving food to children, show photos shared by the sisters on social media on Tuesday.

The British author-podcaster Jay Shetty and his wife Radhi Devlukia Shetty accompanied the Kardashian sisters to the temple.

“Thank you @jayshetty and @radhidevlukia for this beautiful experience at the temple and having the opportunity to visit these small souls I’m forever grateful,” wrote Kim on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a set of pictures from their visit to the temple.

The Kardashian sisters greeted the priests in one of the pictures. While Kim wore a pink-and-orange ensemble, Khloe was dressed in a white-and-lavender anarkali suit.

One of the pictures shows Kim serving food to children at the temple.

Khloe also shared pictures from their temple visit on her Instagram stories. “Major shout out of appreciation to @jayshetty and his beautiful wife @radhidevlukia for being so generous with their time while in India. They took us to the most magical temple. So blessed to have the experiences with such beautiful souls,” reads the caption to her post.

Kim and Khloe visited India for the first time to attend the lavish marriage ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on July 12. The sisters, known for their reality television series The Kardashians, enjoyed an auto-rickshaw ride right after landing in the country. Later, they dolled up in Indian attire for the wedding festivities.

For the July 12 wedding at Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra, Kim and Khloe chose Manish Malhotra lehengas. The latter’s embellished white-and-golden ensemble formed a striking contrast to her sister Kim's shimmery red lehenga.

During the post-wedding festivities, Kim and Khloe dazzled in luxurious sari ensembles from the shelves of the same fashion house. While Kim decked up in an off-shoulder silk ivory ensemble with floral motifs and light gold details, Khloe sported a rose pink chiffon saree intricately hand-embroidered with silken threads, pearls, sequins and crystals.

The sisters recently revealed that Anant and Radhika’s lavish wedding ceremony will be a part of their reality TV show The Kardashians.
