Team Khela Jawkhon recently got together to talk about the thriller, which releases today, at 6 Ballygunge Place, Salt Lake. The ensemble cast comprising Mimi Chakraborty, Arjun Chakrabarty, director Arindam Sil and others shared their experience of working in the film. Talking about the film, director Arindam Sil said: “Directing Khela Jawkhon was an extremely special feeling. The film follows Urmi who wakes up from a coma... what she sees in her nightmare, what she faces in real life, and what she experiences, are completely different. They kind of contradict each other. And out of this contradiction she has to find who her real self is in order to save herself. And she understands that her life is in danger. She has to know who she is.”

For Mimi, it’s been a journey to remember. “My character Urmi is on a journey to find her real identity and the journey turns into a self-discovery,” said Mimi.

Khela Jawkhon deals with the complexities that arise from the question of what is the truth and what is not. “Working with Arindam Sil is always a pleasure, he exactly knows what he wants from the artiste and helps us in delivering it to the audience,” said Arjun.
