Actors Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Anupam Kher reunited to celebrate the wedding anniversary of their Khalnayak director Subhash Ghai and his wife Mukta on Wednesday.

Featuring the Choli Ke Peeche song and Madhuri’s dance moves, Khalnayak was released in 1993 and went on to become the second highest-grossing film of that year.

Madhuri’s husband Dr Shriram Nene shared glimpses of the group having dinner with the couple. “It’s the company that makes the evening❤️ A very happy wedding anniversary to @subhashghai1 #MuktaGhai and to @muktaartsltd @anupampkher @duttsanjay @apnabhidu #aboutlastnight,” he wrote on social media.

One of the pictures shows Madhuri flanked by her husband and Subhash on the balcony of the latter’s Mumbai house with a view of the night sky and far-off highrises. While Madhuri is seen in a white boat-necked black dress, the other two were also seen in black.

Another picture shows the star cast of Khalnayak together, including Sanjay, Jackie and Anupam, in Subhash’s living room.

Among the other photos, Madhuri and Nene took a selfie with Subhash and his wife Mukta Ghai. The picture was taken on the balcony which gave a view of the cityscape.

Nene took another selfie at the dinner table with the cast of Khalnayak.

The pictures left fans nostalgic and hopeful for a sequel to the 1993 film. “Will there be a khalnayak season 2 movie ?? 😍 I hope 😁,” wrote one of them on social media.
