KGF star Yash will not be meeting fans on his birthday in Bangalore on January 8, he said in a note on X (previously Twitter) on Thursday, thanking fans for the love they have showered on the announcement teaser of his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups.
“I know many of you are waiting to meet me on my birthday in person and share what you think of it (Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups). Trust me when I say this, to be able to be with you all is one of the things I treasure the most. But, we may have to wait a bit more since I will be away on 8th January,” read the note Yash shared on X.
The title of the upcoming movie was announced a month ago by the makers. Yash had also taken to his X account to share the motion poster of the upcoming film with the caption, “'What you seek is seeking you' - Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups #TOXIC.”
It is rumoured that the upcoming film, directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions, may mark Kareena Kapoor’s Kannada film debut.
Yash had become a pan-India star with Prashanth Neel’s Kannada action film KGF: Chapter One (2018), followed by KGF: Chapter Two (2022), which became the highest-grossing film of the year.
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups is scheduled to release next year in April, 2025.
