Keanu Reeves-starrer John Wick: Chapter 4 continued its successful run at the international box office over the weekend even as new release Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves drew audiences to theatres worldwide.
John Wick: Chapter 4, directed by Chad Stahelski, added another USD 28 million to its domestic collections over the second weekend, as per Box Office Mojo, taking its total earnings in the US and Canada to USD 122.6 million. The film’s net earnings outside the US and Canada stands at USD 122 million, which takes its total worldwide collection to USD 245 million.
The fourth film in the John Wick franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4 has already surpassed the lifetime collections of the 2014 action thriller John Wick (USD 86 million) and the 2017 sequel John Wick: Chapter 2 (USD 171 million). John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum remains unbeaten with total earnings worth USD 327 million.
Meanwhile, Chris Pine-starrer Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves registered a good opening at the box office, raking in USD 33 million from the international market over the weekend, as per Box Office Mojo. The adaptation of the popular role-playing game added another USD 38.5 million in North America, taking its worldwide collection to USD 71 million.
