Abhay Deol and Katrina Kaif shared a bunch of behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of Zoya Akhtar’s 2011 film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara to mark 13 years of the comedy drama on Monday, with the former posing a question to the director about the film’s potential sequel. Here’s a look.
Abhay, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar posed for a picture together. Filmed primarily in Spain, the storyline follows three childhood friends, Arjun (Hrithik), Kabir (Abhay) and Imran (Farhan), who reunite for a three-week road trip.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara featured Katrina as Arjun’s romantic interest, Laila. The picture shows Katrina and Hrithik sitting on a yacht during the filming of a scene.

Katrina embraced Zoya for a picture. “The most magical time, with the most special director and the most wonderful people. Such memories,” read the caption to her post.
Sharing a throwback picture of Farhan and his elder sister Zoya reviewing shots, Abhay wrote, “@zoieakhtar yes it’s been 13 Years. How much more time will you and my (your) bro take to write part 2?”
Released theatrically on July 15, 2011, the film also starred Kalki Koechlin as Natasha Arora. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara had earned over Rs 150 crore worldwide, according to industry data-tracking site Sacnilk.
