Following Mani Ratnam-helmed Ponniyin Selvan 2’s trailer release and Ram Charan’s Game Changer title announcement, the makers of several movies from the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries dropped new trailers and teasers last week. Here’s a look.
Katharbasha Endra Muthuramalingam (Tamil)
Junglee Music South dropped the official teaser of the upcoming Tamil-language film Katharbasha Endra Muthuramalingam. Directed by Muthaiya and produced by Zee Studios alongside Vedikkaranpatti S. Sakthivel, the film stars Arya, Siddhi Idnani, Prabu, Bhagyaraj, Singampuli, Naren, Tamizh, Madhusudhana Rao, Avinash and R. K. Vijay Murugan.
The one-minute-18-second-long teaser introduces a locality plagued by violence caused by rowdy men. The clip shows a lot of action and introduces a Kabaddi team.
Saindhav (Telugu)
Venkatesh Daggubati’s upcoming Telugu-language action film Saidhav gets a release date. Niharika Entertainment announced that the Dr Sailesh Kolanu directorial will hit the cinemas in December. The studio took to Twitter to announce the news along with a poster. “#Saindhav's Explosion Alert ⚠️ #SaindhavOnDEC22 😎” reads the tweet.
The film reportedly stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a key role.
Grey Games (Kannada)
Anand Audio released the official teaser of its upcoming Kannada-language thriller Grey Games. Written And Directed By Gangadhar Salimath, the film stars Vijay Raghavendra, Shruti Prakash, Bhavvana Rao, Aparna Vastarey, Ravi Bhat and Jai.
The two-minute-four-second-long teaser shows a blend of live-action and game simulations. The characters are introduced as the teaser immerses us in its unique world. “Between Right And Wrong, Black And White, Lies The Truth. Step Into The Captivating World Of Grey Games, A Family Suspense Thriller Drama That Will Challenge Your Perception Of Reality. Let The Game Begin!” reads the official synopsis.
Thaaram Theertha Koodaram (Malayalam)
T-Series Malayalam unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming Malayalam-language drama film Thaaram Theertha Koodaram. Helmed by Gokul Ramakrishnan, the film features Karthik Ramakrishnan, Vineeth Viswam, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Mala Parvathi, Nainita Maria, Dayyana Hameed and Ayn Sajid.
The two-minute-31-second-long trailer chronicles the life of a young man who finds purpose in life by sheltering a single mother and her child.
Thaaram Theertha Koodaram will hit theatres on April 14.
