Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, will soon be adapted into a comic book series based on Kartik’s Rooh Baba character, the actor has announced on Instagram.
Titled Rooh Baba Ki Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the comic book series will be published by Diamond Comics in partnership with production houses T-Series and Cine1Studios. The comic book series, likely to be loaded with animated pictures, is targeted at a younger audience.
“Rooh Baba aur unki kahaniyan ab aa gayi hai comics ki Bhool Bhulaiyaa mein... This one is for all my lil fans #RoohBabaKiBhoolBhulaiyaa @diamondcomicsindia @tseries.official @cine1studios,” Kartik wrote on Instagram alongside the cover art of the comic book on Tuesday.
Diamond Comics, one of the largest publishers in India which brings out the Chacha Chaudhary series, also shared the news on social media platforms. “Keep the excitement flowing as we introduce #RoohBabaKiBhoolBhulaiyaa comics coming very soon to entertain you and your family!” read a post from Diamond Comics on Instagram.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released in theatres on May 20. Also starring Tabu, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has emerged as one of the biggest Bollywood hits of 2022, grossing over Rs 250 crore at the box office.
Kartik will next be seen in Shashanka Ghosh’s Freddy and Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada.
