Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 crosses Rs 300-crore milestone worldwide

The Anees Bazmee-directed horror-comedy film stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Vijay Raaz in key roles

Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has crossed the Rs 300-crore milestone at the worldwide box office with a domestic collection of over Rs 230 crore gross in nine days, the makers announced on Sunday.

“BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 CROSSES A MASSIVE 300 CR IN JUST 9 DAYS,” the official handle of T-Series posted on X on Sunday.

According to production house T-Series, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has earned Rs 311.25 crore gross globally. This includes Rs 234.41 crore gross in India and Rs 76.84 crore gross overseas.

According to industry data-tracking portal Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 began its box office journey with a collection of Rs 35.5 crore nett on Day 1. The film earned Rs 158.25 crore nett in the first week.

The second week began with a collection of Rs 9.25 crore nett on Friday, followed by Rs 15.5 crore nett on Saturday. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 added Rs 16.50 crore nett to its tally on Day 10, pushing its domestic earnings to Rs 199.50 crore nett. The movie witnessed a solid 39.22 per cent occupancy rate on Sunday, with afternoon and evening screenings driving the highest turnouts, clocking 47.02 per cent and 54.94 per cent occupancy, respectively.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, an Anees Bazmee directorial, follows the adventures of Rooh Baba (Kartik Aaryan), who stumbles upon a haunted mansion near Kolkata. There he confronts the spirit of Manjulika, leading to a series of spooky yet comedic encounters. The ensemble cast features Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 released in theatres on November 1 alongside Rohit Shetty’s cop universe film Singham Again. The Ajay Devgn-starrer remained slightly ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office in the first week. However, the film’s momentum has now slowed down.

Singham Again had an opening day collection of Rs 43.5 crore nett. It ended Week 1 with earnings worth Rs 173 crore nett. In the second week, the film collected Rs 8 crore nett on Friday, followed by Rs 12.25 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 13.25 crore nett on Sunday, taking its 10-day total to Rs 206.5 crore nett.
