Actor Kartik Aaryan recently said he is touched by Salman Khan’s appreciation of the song ‘Character Dheela 2.0’ from his upcoming film Shehzada. The original song titled ‘Character Dheela’ featured Salman Khan and was used in his 2011 film Reddy.

Salman showed his support for the song and sent his best wishes to Kartik Aaryan by posting the ‘Character Dheela 2.0’ song on social media soon after its release. “Best wishes @kartikaaryan #rohitdhawan #shehzada,” the Bollywood star wrote.

On his part, Kartik expressed his gratitude in the comment section of Salman’s post. “Sab ka Bhai Sab ki Jaan. Shehzada ka swag se swagat karne ke liye shukriya🙏. Means a lot🤗 Thank you for your love and support Sir…,” he wrote.

In a recent interview, the Freddy actor said Salman’s praise for the new song was a big boost for him. “Yes, it’s a big boost. I was so happy when Salman sir appreciated the song. I’m really thankful to him for the generosity he showed towards the new song.”

‘Character Dheela 2.0’ has been a big part of Shehzada’s promotions. The Hindi-language action drama film is a remake of the 2020 Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Helmed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also features Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar.

Shehzada will hit the theatres on February 17.

Apart from Shehzada, Kartik will next be seen in Satyaprem ki Katha, Aashiqui 3, and Kabir Khan’s untitled next.
