Triptii Dimri joins the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Instagram

Triptii Dimri will star opposite Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiya 3, the latter announced on Wednesday, hours after teasing a partially visible picture of the Animal actress.

“Welcome to the World of Bhool Bhulaiyaa @tripti_dimri,” the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star captioned his Instagram post.

The picture features a photograph of Triptii Dimri placed on a wooden table, a lock, a key and some candles surrounding it.

Earlier today, Kartik had teased the revelation of the upcoming horror comedy’s female lead by dropping two partially visible photos of the actress on Instagram.The pictures showed a piece of a jigsaw puzzle carrying the “chilling” smile and the “haunting” eyes of the mystery actress.

“Solve kijiye Is Bhool Bhulaiyaa ko (Solve this riddle),” the 33-year-old actor wrote alongside one of the pictures.

The cryptic posts prompted netizens to speculate if Triptii Dimri was joining the third instalment of the horror-comedy franchise.

The makers recently revealed that Vidya Balan will return as Manjulika in the third instalment of the franchise.

According to an Instagram post by production company T-Series, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to go on floors this March.

In addition to Vidya, Kartik will also reprise his role as Rooh Baba in the upcoming horror comedy.

Featuring Kiara Advani and Tabu in addition to Kartik, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 revolved around an entrapped spirit seeking revenge. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the film emerged as one of the highest grossing hits of 2022.

The first instalment of the horror-comedy franchise, released in 2007, focused on Avni Chaturvedi (Vidya Balan), a woman grappling with dissociative identity disorder. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel, and Paresh Rawal.

Anees Bazmee will direct the third instalment, slated to hit theatres on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali.
