Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 crosses Rs 400-crore mark at worldwide box office

The Anees Bazmee-directed horror-comedy film stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Vijay Raaz in key roles

Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has crossed the Rs 400-crore milestone at the worldwide box office, the makers announced on Tuesday. According to the makers, the Anees Bazmee-directed horror-comedy film has raked in Rs 408.52 crore gross globally.

“Everything is possible If the audience is standing by you and Believes in your story♥️ Thank YOU 🤙 400 Crore paar 🔥 #BhoolBhulaiyaa3,” Kartik Aaryan posted on X on Tuesday alongside a poster of the film.

According to industry data-tracking portal Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 began its box office journey with a collection of Rs 35.5 crore nett on Day 1. The film earned Rs 158.25 crore nett in the first week. The second week haul for the horror-comedy film was Rs 58 crore nett, followed by Rs 23.35 crore nett in Week 3. With another Rs 8.4 crore nett in the fourth week so far, the net domestic collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 now stands at Rs 248 crore nett.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 follows the adventures of Rooh Baba (Kartik Aaryan), who stumbles upon a haunted mansion near Kolkata. There he confronts the spirit of Manjulika, leading to a series of spooky yet comedic encounters. The ensemble cast features Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 released in theatres on November 1, competing against Rohit Shetty’s cop universe film Singham Again. The Ajay Devgn-starrer remained slightly ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office in the first week. However, the film’s momentum slowed down after the first Wednesday. Singham Again has collected Rs 240.9 crore nett in India so far.
