Actor Kartik Aaryan is in Kolkata for the filming of Anees Bazmee’s upcoming horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, show photos and videos he shared on social media on Monday.

Sharing a picture of the Lake Town Clock Tower, Kartik wrote “Kolkata #BhoolBhulaiyaa3,” on his Instagram story.

Another picture he shared on his Instagram story shows him enjoying a scrumptious dinner at an upscale restaurant in the city.

The Satyaprem Ki Katha actor recently announced on social media that he has started shooting for the second schedule of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The third instalment of the hit horror-comedy franchise also stars Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan in key roles.

While Kartik reprises his role as Rooh Baba, Vidya Balan returns as Manjulika in the upcoming horror comedy.

Produced under the banner of T-Series Films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated to hit the theatres on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali.

The first instalment of the horror comedy franchise, released in 2007, focused on Avni Chaturvedi (Vidya), a woman grappling with dissociative identity disorder. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal in key roles. The next Bhool Bhulaiya movie, which featured Kiara Advani and Tabu alongside Kartik, revolved around an entrapped spirit seeking revenge.

Kartik is also set to star in Kabir Khan's upcoming sports drama Chandu Champion. Based on the life of a sportsman, the film will arrive in cinemas on June 14.
