Actor Kartik Aaryan, who portrayed Indian Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar in Chandu Champion, on Friday led a line of Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn sending best wishes to Indian athletes at Paris Olympics 2024.

“Wishing All the best to the athletes representing our nation at the Paris Olympics 2024. Playing an Athlete in #ChanduChampion has been an incredible experience and honor,” the actor wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of him from the sports biopic movie helmed by Kabir Khan.

Describing the feeling of seeing the tricolour on top, the actor went on to motivate the athletes representing India at this year’s Olympics. “The feeling of holding the medal and seeing the Indian flag on top cannot be expressed in words. More strength to all you Champions!! Give your best and make us proud,” he added.

Ajay Devgn also cheered the Indian participants at the Olympics by showing his support on X on Saturday. “To all Indian Athletes, You are the pride of our nation. The best at what y'all do. Be assured that we will be cheering our hearts out to see perform. It's time to bring home the hardware. Cheers and good luck!” he wrote on the microblogging site.

Deepika Padukone, too, felt the heat of the Olympics fever as she shared a video clip of Indian athletes PV Sindhu and Sharath Kamal from the Olympics opening ceremony. The duo were the flag bearers for India at the Parade Of Nations on the Seine river in Paris.

Ayushmann Khurranna urged everyone to cheer and support the players at the Olympics, sharing a video featuring him and youth affairs and sports minister Mansukh Mandaviya. “Olympics is the greatest sporting event of the world & those who compete in it are nothing short of Titans at their disciplines. We have 117 such brilliant athletes who are ready to fly our flag high at this year’s #Paris2024 Olympics! Let’s cheer for them to make Bharat proud. Let’s cheer for them to show the world our grit, determination & passion for the games. Deeply honored to have met Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports today to start a campaign to cheer for the Indian contingent. Jai Hind., he wrote.

Abhishek Bachchan also showed his support for the Indian athletes on social media. “Wishing our incredible athletes all the best for the #Paris2024Olympics. The entire nation stands united to cheer you on!” he wrote on X.

Suniel Shetty cheered for India on Instagram, posting a story featuring several Indian athletes on the Paris 2024 poster. "Wishing our incredible athletes the very best for the Paris Olympics. The nation stands behind you as you #GoForGlory. Jai Hind,” he wrote in the caption.
