Actor Kartik Aaryan has started shooting for the second schedule of Anees Bazmee’s upcoming horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, he said in an Instagram post on Monday.
“Fun trip khatam Kaam Shuru. Fun trip khatam Kaam Shuru. Shoot begins #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 #Schedule2,” the 33-year-old wrote alongside a selfie from his car.
Kartik and his co-star Triptii Dimri announced the completion of the first schedule of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on March 28.
While Kartik reprises his role as Rooh Baba in the third instalment of the hit horror-comedy franchise, Vidya Balan returns as Manjulika.
Produced under the banner of T-Series Films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated to hit the theatres on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali.
The first instalment of the horror comedy franchise, released in 2007, focused on Avni Chaturvedi (Vidya), a woman grappling with dissociative identity disorder. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal in key roles. The next Bhool Bhulaiya movie, which featured Kiara Advani and Tabu alongside Kartik, revolved around an entrapped spirit seeking revenge.
Kartik is also set to star in Kabir Khan's upcoming sports drama Chandu Champion. Based on the life of a sportsman, the film will arrive in cinemas on June 14.
The actor recently met with footballer Harry Kane during Bundesliga football league in Germany and taught him a Hindi dialogue from Chandu Champion.
